The 2009 models . . .

Painted Spring's Key Lago

(d.o.b.  4/27/09)

Male

Sire:  El Nino's Accoyo Iago

Dam: Lili

What an amazing presence on this fella.  He've been erect and straight since day one.  He's just about ready to try his skills as a herdsire.

Painted Spring's Sweet Pete

(d.o.b.  5/17/09)

Male

Sire:  El Nino's Accoyo Iago

Dam: Sweet Pea

This sweet little boy was named in memory of his mother, Sweet Pea.  She was by far our favorite and a farm favorite as well.  She passed away a few months after Petey was born.  He carries the great conformation and fleece of his parents.

Pete now resides at Shadowberry Farm.  This is a picture of him at about 2 1/2 years old.  The resemblance to his father Iago is uncanny.  What  a handsome boy!

Painted Spring's Gahanna

(d.o.b.  6/8/09)

Male

Sire:   El Nino's Accoyo Iago

Dam: Eternity

Ok, by now, these little white boys are looking pretty much the same.  But each one has his own unique fiber and conformational properties that allow us to tell them apart.  Each one is as nice as the next.

Painted Spring's Tisdale

(d.o.b.  6/09)

Male

Sire:  Sugar's Head Turnin' Image

Dam: Tootie

Talk about a dense black fleece.  This guy's got it and great conformation too!

Tisdale now resides at another farm in Spring Grove keeping a lonely llama company.

Painted Spring's Buster Brown

(d.o.b.  6/21/09)

Male

Sire:  Sugar's Head Turnin' Image

Dam: Abby

Buster is the fastest growing cria on the farm.  By the time he was 2 month's he was the size of Lago who was born 2 months before - and he's big too!

Gorgeous deep reddish-brown fleece.  He's a real looker.

Buster has been sold to Madison Strain of East Berlin.

Sea Splash

(d.o.b.  6/20/09)

Female

Sire: Seacrest

Dam: MA Gina

Splash was another pick to complement our line up of great crias this year.  She has the most amazing fleece with the longest staple length ever seen.

Splash did very well at shows in 2010, 2011 at halter but her strong suit was doing the obstacles with Anna in 2010, winning just about every championship she was entered in.

Typhoon Ivan

(d.o.b.  6/30/09)

Male

Sire: Typhooon

Dam: CPeruvian Day Charm

We hand selected this little boy to become one of our herd because of the enormous potential he has to become one of our herdsires.  His sire has repeatedly produced blue ribbon winners.

Painted Spring's Hope

(d.o.b.  9/17/09)

Female

Sire: El Nino's Accoyo Iago

Dam: Pink

Finally after our summer of boys, along came Hope.

She arrived shortly after the loss of 2 of our best and favorite girls

so her arrival gave us the hope that we could go on.

We are planning on breeding Hope in the Spring of 2012.
