The 2011 models . . .

Painted Spring's Pistol Pete

(d.o.b.  5/1/11)

Male

Sire: Accoyo America Archimedes

Dam: Lili

Pistol Pete got his name from is really big attitude.  He's a spunky guy but never a problem to work with.  Pistol was sheared along side his mother this year when he was 3 weeks old and now in September just 4 months later, he already has over 3" of growth.  Can't wait to see how much he has until next spring!

Painted Spring's Arpeggio

(d.o.b.  6/30/11)

Male

Sire:  5C's Cresendo's aCapella

Dam: Pink

We are really pleased with this solid little boy.  His Mom has the sweetest personality (when she's not bred) which makes her just want to be petted and loved.  That makes Arpeggio curious about humans as well. Still very cautious, we expect that the longer his mom stays friendly, the better he will get.  His fleece looks pretty amazing too - he's the whole package!

Painted Spring's Super Seven

(d.o.b.  7/7/11)

Male

Sire:  The Khantender Optimo

Dam: Sassafrass

We thought that this might be a suri when he was first born.  Such silky, bright fleece - it was blinding.  When we told the owners of the sire they said that his dad was the same way.  Seven is a solid little boy with lots of spunk.

Painted Spring's Buttercup

(d.o.b.  7/12/11)

Female

Sire:  El Nino's Accoyo Iago

Dam: Sweet Suave

Ahhhh, at last a girl for 2011.  My friend Annalisa has been saying we need an alpaca named Buttercup.  It didn't matter to her if it was a boy or girl, if it was black or white, but she was adamant about it.  I told her that when we have a light fawn girl, we would call it Buttercup.  So not to disappoint, we finally had our token girl for 2011 and she is light fawn and absolutely stunning.  She wins for best personality of the year but that's not a surprise with her daddy being Iago.  Watch for this tall lovely lady next year at the shows!
